Investigation of Iron Ore Mineral Distribution Using Aero-Magnetic Exploration Techniques: Case Study at Pocheon, Korea

We present our aeromagnetic survey results from an investigation of the iron ore mineral distribution in Pocheon, Korea, west-central area Korean Peninsula. A manned system using a helicopter for regional exploration and unmanned multicopter high-resolution were used survey. The inversion magnetic data confirmed possibility existence new body. Drilling was carried out based on drilling revealed amphibolite including ore, as indicated by strong response. position depth consistent with interpretation data.
